1) Go to Via Rail (link “Via Rail” to http://www.viarail.ca/en)

2) Log in to your profile, or create one prior to booking (click on “My VIA Profiles” on the top of the screen)

3) After logging in, you will be on the “Passenger Information” screen. On the “Train” tab/ page fill in the information and click on the “Seach” button (at the bottom) when you’re finished

4) Select the train (or trains, in case you have chosen a round trip) and select the “regular fare”. Click on “Select and Continue”

5) Review the fare details and click the “Book Now” button

6) Validate your contact information and click “continue”

7) On the following screen, on the “Discount Type” field, select “Convention Fare”; On the “Discount Code” field write down the confirmation number 12198

8) The following page will show the recalculated fare and ask you for payment details.
